About Kyra
Kyra's first instrument was clarinet, which she has been playing for 16 years. Shortly after, she began classically training with the piano, and fell in love with the instrument. Kyra has accompanied musicals, orchestras, chamber choirs, and much more with her piano playing. Kyra's main goal is to help her students discover a great love of music through playing pieces her students personally enjoy. Kyra is also highly educated in music theory and believes in the importance of incorporating this into her lessons. Kyra is a part of the Bristol Brass and Wind Ensemble, and has also played in the Greater Waterbury Symphony Orchestra under Bosnia's first female conductor, Vesna Mehovic. Kyra is currently pursuing a Music Theory certification at Berklee College of Music.
